The answers to these questions will be answered once this OCT is over, but chances are, she'll come out alive. I doubt Kenshin would let her die.

As for the fight thing, I needed a reason for her to go in this comic, while making it somewhat humorous. She's not a troublemaker, but due to her dual-heritage, Elves and Dragonkin dislike her greatly. So she's forced to fight, essentially.
